Detailed Dead Island 2 PC system requirements revealed

Dead Island 2 is finally coming out in just over one week. The game has been in development for a decade and has been handed to several studios along the way. The game officially went gold back in February and now, we have PC system requirements ahead of launch, with the minimum spec targeting 1080p/30FPS gameplay and the Ultra spec targeting 4K at 60FPS.

Dead Island 2's PC system requirements are fairly detailed, with four separate specs targeting different resolutions. The minimum spec should get you to 1080p at 30FPS, while the recommended spec targets 1080p at 60FPS. The High requirements aim for 1440p/60FPS and the Ultra specs target 4K/60FPS with the graphics settings dialled up.

  • Windows 10
  • AMD FX-9590 or Intel Core i7-7700
  • 10GB RAM
  • AMD Radeon RX 480 or Nvidia GTX 1060
  • 70GB storage

Recommended (1080p/60):

  • Windows 10
  • AMD Ryzen 5 5600X or Intel Core i9-9900K
  • 16GB RAM
  • AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT or Nvidia RTX 2070 Super
  • 70GB storage

High (1440p/60):

  • Windows 10
  • AMD Ryzen 7 7700X or Intel Core i5-12600KF
  • 16GB RAM
  • AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT or Nvidia RTX 3070
  • 70GB storage

Ultra (4K/60):

  • Windows 10
  • AMD Ryzen 9 7900X or Intel Core i7-13700K
  • 16GB RAM
  • AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT or Nvidia RTX 3090
  • 70GB storage

Dead Island 2 is releasing next week, on the 21st of April.
