Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris launches in December, will raise the level cap

If you’ve been grinding away at Destiny 2 since its launch on consoles in September, or even PC last week, then you might be wondering when Bungie’s next big content drop will be landing. Today at Paris Games Week, Sony had the chance to show off the first Destiny 2 DLC trailer, which is titled ‘Curse of Osiris’ and lands on the 5th of December.

We saw leaks for Curse of Osiris back in August, before Destiny 2 had properly launched. According to the leaks, this DLC will focus on Osiris, an exiled Warlock, with the main enemy being the Vex. This is confirmed by the trailer, which you can see below:

The official description for the trailer says that “The Vex are on the march, and our only hope to stop them may lie with Osiris, the notorious heretic and most powerful Warlock in the history of the Last City”.

This DLC promises to bring us face to face with new characters, places and challenges. The latest expansion will also increase the level cap, allowing guardians to reach level 25 and boost their ‘Power Level' for gear from 300 to 330. Destiny 2: The Curse of Osiris launches on the 5th of December, presumably across all platforms.

KitGuru Says: I had the chance to put a small amount of time into Destiny 2 over the weekend and so far, I’m really liking the campaign. Bungie has certainly stepped its story-telling up a notch, so hopefully this will continue with new expansions. Are any of you currently playing Destiny 2? Will you be hopping back in for December’s DLC?
