Dead Space Remake PC system requirements revealed

The Dead Space Remake is shaping up to be fantastic. All the footage we've seen so far has looked stunning, and the game design has not been held back by old hardware, as the game is only targeting PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5. Now following a new gameplay trailer, EA has revealed the PC system requirements for the remake.

EA Motive's Dead Space is a complete rebuild of the original game from the ground up, all in a newer engine (Frostbite instead of RenderWare). Most of the original game remains intact with enhancements coming from the visual side. However, certain portions of the game have been reworked for a better experience, such as the zero gravity sections.

The Dead Space Remake's PC system requirements are a mixed bag. The Minimum CPU and GPU required is fairly low, but you will apparently need at least 16GB of memory in your system, moving up from the 8GB or 12GB minimum recommended RAM we've typically seen for games over the last few years. This is a trend we expect to see continue as more titles target new-gen consoles and PC only, leaving behind the Xbox One and PS4.

Here are the full PC system requirements:
