Dave the Diver to get surprise Game Pass release

Dave the Diver has been a huge hit on Steam, Switch and PlayStation so far, but there has yet to be an Xbox version of the game. That is due to change soon, with one prominent leaker claiming that Dave the Diver will drop on Xbox very soon and better yet, it will also be included in the Game Pass library.

According to Spanish YouTuber, Extas1s, who has accurately leaked a few announcements this year already, Dave the Diver will be a surprise late-month addition to Game Pass, alongside a surprise release on Xbox consoles.

Dave the Diver isn't a particularly expensive game to begin with. Typically, it sells for just under £17, but can regularly be found on sale for less and on PC, keys for the game can be found even cheaper. It isn't necessarily a massive value-add for Game Pass, but it will be a great addition to the library and its inclusion should net the game a few million new players checking out the game for the first time.

As pointed out by Dualshockers, Extas1s previously leaked Octopath Traveller 2 for Game Pass.

KitGuru Says: If Dave the Diver really is landing on Game Pass this month, then Microsoft could have done with a teaser, as this month's second wave of Game Pass titles was a little weak, with just three games coming before the end of this week, leaving a large gap for the final 12 days of the month.
