Cyberpunk 2077 re-imagined as a PlayStation 1 game

We are used to seeing a lot of video game remakes and remasters nowadays but what about De-makes? In an interesting video, one YouTuber recreated a section of Cyberpunk 2077 in the style of a PlayStation 1 game, giving us a look at what something like this would have looked like almost 25 years ago.

Bearly Regal creates remakes and demakes regularly on his YouTube channel. In a new video, he takes on Cyberpunk 2077, giving us a small-scale look at what Night City would look like if it was designed as a PS1 game:

This particular de-make was made using Dreams on the PS4, so if you happen to have a PS4 and a copy of Dreams, you might be able to find this and take a closer look at it for yourself.

Of course, Cyberpunk 2077 would not have been possible on PS1 hardware but it is still an interesting look and a good reminder of just how far graphics have come in the last couple of decades. We'll be getting a real look at Cyberpunk 2077 in August, as CD Projekt Red plans to release a new gameplay demonstration after Gamescom. The game is currently slated to release in April 2020.

KitGuru Says: Graphics sure have come a long way in the last 20 years. Are many of you looking forward to getting your hands on Cyberpunk 2077?
