Cyberpunk 2077 official gameplay trailer released

To make up for Cyberpunk 2077's recent delay to December 10th, CD Projekt Red aired another episode of Night City Wire this week. This time around, we're greeted with the official gameplay trailer, featuring plenty of Johnny Silverhand.

The official gameplay trailer is pretty big, coming in at over 5 minutes in length. You can see the full trailer below:

The trailer gives us a glimpse at dialogue options, character creation, combat and more. Importantly, it also sets up the game's story. As you would expect, the game kicks off in the year 2077, the US economy has collapsed and Night City is one of the few megalopolis left on the continent. As a result, people from all over have flocked to it, causing severe overcrowding and other problems.

As V, you embark on a job only for things to go sideways, after which, you wake up with Johnny Silverhand living in your head. As you might imagine, Silverhand has an agenda of his own.

Cyberpunk 2077 is due to release on the 10th of December for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and Google Stadia.
