Cyberpunk 2077 confirmed for E3 2019

After an excellent showing last year, CD Projekt Red is gearing up to peel back the curtain on Cyberpunk 2077 again this year. While there are still questions as to how much longer the game needs, we do know that we will be seeing the game once again at this year's E3.

Cyberpunk 2077 was first announced at E3 all the way back in 2013 alongside The Witcher 3. Last year, the first full trailer for the game was shown at the very end of Microsoft's conference and later in 2018, a full 50-minute gameplay demo was shown publicly for the first time.

To clear up any questions surrounding CD Projekt Red's plans for the game this year, the Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account tweeted: “For those of you asking, yes, we will be at E3 this year”.

Perhaps this time around, there will be a playable demo, rather than a developer-controlled walkthrough. Perhaps we'll even hear more about a release date, although the general consensus seems to be that Cyberpunk 2077 won't be coming out until 2020.

KitGuru Says: Cyberpunk 2077 had a really good showing last year. Hopefully at E3 we'll get an even deeper dive and hear some form of planned launch window, even if we don't get an exact release date.
