Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time comes to next-gen consoles, PC and Switch

Crash Bandicoot 4 came out a little too early to be part of the next-gen console launch window, but PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the game are on the way this year. In addition, the game is also coming to PC and Nintendo Switch for the first time.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time released in October 2020 for PS4 and Xbox One. On the 12th of March, to celebrate Crash Bandicoot's 25th Anniversary, the game will be releasing on Xbox Series X/S and PS5 with support for 4K visuals, up to 60 frames per second gameplay, optimised load times and more. Those who already own the game on PS4 or Xbox One can upgrade to the next-gen version for free.

The Nintendo Switch version is also coming out next month, with pre-orders going live today. We don't know any specific details on how the Switch version looks or performs yet.

Later in the year, the game will also ship on PC, but not via Steam or the Epic Games Store. Activision will be putting this game on battle.net instead.

KitGuru Says: I'm looking forward to finally checking out Crash 4 once it comes to PC. Did many of you play the console version from last year? Will you be picking up one of the newer versions this year?
