Counter-Strike 2 is getting Nvidia Reflex support

We were all surprised when Counter Strike 2 was seemingly revealed through Nvidia's drivers earlier this year. At the time, Valve had not officially announced the game. If you were wondering why such a leak could have come from Nvidia, we now know why. Valve has been working with Nvidia to bring Nvidia Reflex technology to the game.

Nvidia Reflex allows users to reduce their system latency in supported games, paving the way for more responsive controls and gameplay. Many of the top multiplayer games already support Reflex and when Counter-Strike 2 launches later this summer, it will also be joining that list.

With Counter-Strike 2 now being added to the list, nine out of the top ten competitive shooters now use Nvidia's latency-reducing tech. Other titles on the list include Call of Duty: Warzone, Destiny 2, Apex Legends, Overwatch 2, Rainbow Six Siege, Valorant, Fortnite and Escape from Tarkov.

With Reflex enabled, latency in Counter-Strike 2 can be reduced by up to 35 percent. As a reminder, you only need a GTX 900 series or newer graphics card in order to use Nvidia Reflex, so there is wide support in place.
