Call of Duty is finally coming to GeForce Now

Nvidia has detailed what we can expect for GeForce Now in December, with plans to introduce over 60 games to the library. While Activision has steered away from cloud gaming services, now that the company is owned by Microsoft, we are finally getting Call of Duty in the cloud.

The headliners this month for GeForce Now are the additions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022) and Modern Warfare 3 (2023) along with Call of Duty Warzone. These games will all be landing in the library today, alongside a good number of other titles, including more games available through PC Game Pass, furthering Nvidia's new partnership with Microsoft for cloud gaming.

The 15 games landing on GeForce Now today include:

  • Last Train Home (New release on Steam, Nov. 28)
  • Gangs of Sherwood (New release on Steam, Nov. 30)
  • SteamWorld Build (New release on SteamXbox and available on PC Game Pass, Dec. 1)
  • Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles (Steam)
  • Call of Duty HQ, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Warzone (Steam)
  • Galactic Civilizations IV (Steam)
  • Halls of Torment (Steam)
  • Kona II: Brume (Steam)
  • Laika: Aged Through Blood (Epic Games Store)
  • Pillars of Eternity (Xbox, available on PC Game Pass)
  • RESEARCH and DESTROY (Xbox, available on PC Game Pass)
  • Roboquest (Epic Games Store)
  • StrangerZ (Steam)

There will be more than 50 other titles joining GeForce Now over the next few weeks, including titles like House Flipper 2, Evil Genius 2, Control, Darksiders 3, Humans Fall Flat, The Anacrusis, AI: The Somnium Files, Age of Wonders 4, Stargate: Timekeepers, World War Z: Aftermath and many more.

KitGuru Says: With Modern Warfare 3 supporting DLSS 3, those with access to the GeForce Now Ultimate tier will get to fully utilise the RTX 4080-powered servers with access to the full feature set, which could be good for testing if you have a decent internet connection and want to experience features like DLSS 3 before going all-in on an RTX 40 GPU purchase.
