Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War beta players already encountering cheaters

The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has been in open beta for a couple of days now across all platforms and unfortunately, it looks like cheats have already been developed.

Over on the Black Ops Cold War subreddit, there have been multiple reports of cheaters, some including video footage. This is also leading to a rise in the number of players calling for console-only cross-play, wanting to avoid PC players entirely.

This is something that also happened with Modern Warfare, especially when Warzone came out. A lot of those cheats were clamped down on over time but it is still disappointing to see anti-cheat circumvented so early on.

Those who have the Black Ops Cold War beta can continue to play today, with the testing set to end later today. Hopefully Treyarch will be able to use some of the data collected to ensure a fair playground on launch day.
