Blizzard reveals content roadmap for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight

It has been a few weeks since Blizzard officially launched Dragonflight, the latest expansion for World of Warcraft. At this point, many players have run through the levelling process and are prepared for new challenges. With that in mind, Blizzard has now revealed the roadmap for the year ahead.

For the first time in WoW history, Blizzard has actually released an expansion roadmap, planning out the next year of major updates with new content. Over the remaining winter months, Blizzard will be adding in a few new features, including the new Trading Post system which allows players to earn a wide range of fun cosmetic rewards of their choice, as well as allowing Poor-quality and Common-quality items to be acquired as transmog appearances.

As we move into the Spring, Blizzard will be adding in new quests and repeatable world content set in the Forbidden Reach, which will set up the story for Dragonflight's final arc. Then in the second half of the year, we'll see two more major updates, with a new dungeon, new world events, a new raid and a new zone.

Post-expansion content has always been an area that WoW players have wanted to see improved. Hopefully with roadmaps like this, we'll start to see more reasons for players to stick around long after hitting the new level cap.
