BioShock creator’s next game to be announced at The Game Awards

Since ending the BioShock trilogy years ago, game designer Ken Levine has been quiet. Back in 2017, he started a new studio called Ghost Story Games but the studio has yet to officially announce its first game. That could be changing very soon though, as one notable leaker claims that Levine's next game will be revealed at The Game Awards.

According to RalphsValve, who has recently had quite the track record with leaks, former BioShock lead, Ken Levine, will unveil his next game under his new story, Ghost Story Games, at The Game Awards in December.

Ghost Story Games first formed in 2017 and while the studio has not officially announced its first major project, previous job listings give us a good idea as to what to expect. Apparently, this game will be an ‘immersive sim', much like Prey (2017), the newer Deus Ex games and similar titles. The game will also combine first-person shooter and RPG elements.

Last year, we heard that this game was in the “later stages of production”, so it seems likely if we get an announcement this year, it will come with a 2022 release date.

KitGuru Says: BioShock will go down in history as one of the greats when it comes to video game IP. Hopefully Levine's next project can reach similar heights. Will any of you be keeping an eye out for Ghost Story Games and their first major title?
