Bethesda teams up with Amazon and Westworld creators for Fallout TV series

It would seem that Bethesda and Amazon Studios are teaming up, bringing the Fallout series to TV for the first time. Better yet, this new adaptation will be headed by the creators behind HBO's Westworld.

The announcement is very brief, giving us a short teaser trailer of an old TV with the famous ‘Please Standby' logo in place:

Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy will lead the Fallout TV series adaptation, which will air exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. Speaking about the decision to bring Fallout to TV, Bethesda's Todd Howard said: “Over the last decade, we looked at many ways to bring Fallout to the screen but it was clear from the moment I first spoke with Jonah and Lisa a few years ago, that they and the team at Kilter were the ones to do it right. We’re enormous fans of their work and couldn’t be more excited to work with them and Amazon Studios.”

That is all the news we have for now, but we should get more updates in 2021.

KitGuru Says: The Fallout series is heading into pre-production, hopefully by this time next year, we'll also know a bit about the cast and a potential release window. Will any of you be checking this out when it arrives?
