Avowed and Indiana Jones previews coming in June, it’s claimed

Many of us had been expecting to see updates on Machine Games' Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Obsidian's upcoming RPG, Avowed, during the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9th. However, it would seem that Microsoft has something else planned, as it is now claimed that these games will get separate previews the day after the showcase.

Microsoft seems to be planning a lot of streams for next month. Aside from the main Xbox Games Showcase, which is typically a two-hour long show packed with new trailers and announcements, Microsoft will also be going live with Call of Duty Direct immediately after the showcase, offering a deep dive into Black Ops 6, similar to the way Microsoft previewed Starfield in 2023.

Now, according to Insider Gaming, there will be more streams the day after the showcase, on June 10th. Microsoft has had a few developer roundtables and smaller game previews packaged together for a follow-up show after the main showcase in recent years. That format will continue this year, with the secondary stream this year set to feature gameplay previews of Avowed and Indiana Jones.

Neither game has a release date yet but rumours have claimed that Avowed is planned for 2024, and Indiana Jones might not be too far off either.
