Avalanche Studio promises fixes for Just Cause 3 on PC

Just Cause 3 launched this week and so far, while some people are enjoying the game just fine, others are facing various issues on the PC. Some on the PC have suffered from frame rate drops, crashes and various graphical bugs, though Avalanche Studios has responded to concerns and is working on it, though it will take a bit of time.

I myself have had the chance to play Just Cause 3 on my personal system and the game seemed to run fine. Quite a few reviewers also received the PC version, rather than console. However, for those who are having issues, Avalanche has said: “We know that some of you are encountering some technical issues – we're looking into them all and we're fully committed to providing you the best possible experience”.

“We know you're going to want specific information on when a patch will land and what will be fixed – we would love to give you that information, and we will as soon as we have it. But right now, a little over one day since we launched, we have huge numbers of players in our enormous game world and we're monitoring all the data coming in.”

It will take some time to narrow down specific issues though: “We need a little bit of time to recreate some of these issues and build fixes. Rest assured though – we are fully committed to making Just Cause 3 as awesome as possible.”

KitGuru Says: Square Enix has specifically singled out issues with the latest AMD drivers for Just Cause 3, so that might be worth keeping an eye out for. Have any of you played Just Cause 3 yet? How is it running for you?

  1. Too bad no statement about multi-GPU compatibility.
