Assassin’s Creed Mirage to launch on October 12th

We're still a short while away from Ubisoft Forward, the publisher's planned showcase to announce new games and release dates for major upcoming projects. However, Ubisoft as a company is often prone to leaks, so we regularly learn details well ahead of time. This time around, we seem to have confirmation that Assassin's Creed Mirage is now coming out in October.

Initially teased through leaks last year, Assassin's Creed Mirage was set to be a smaller title compared to the likes of Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla, going back to the series' stealth-focused roots. However, the game has also taken much longer to develop than initially anticipated.

While Mirage was going to be a late 2022/early 2023 release, Ubisoft has pushed the game back. Now, the game is rumoured to be targeting an October release, and new leaks via Japanese retail outlets (via Gematsu) seems to support that idea.

According to Japanese retailers, Assassin's Creed Mirage will be releasing on the 12th of October. Ubisoft will confirm its release date during a Ubisoft Forward stream in June.
