Ark: Survival Ascended, Diablo 4 and The Quarry are heading to Game Pass

We've been eagerly awaiting the addition of Activision Blizzard titles on Xbox Game Pass ever since Microsoft completed its acquisition of the company in late 2023. This month, we're finally getting the ball rolling, with Diablo 4 coming to Game Pass, alongside a slew of other titles over the next couple of weeks.

Diablo 4 has had its ups and downs since launch, with the current season being particularly disappointing, but Season 4 is just around the corner now, promising major overhauls to systems to make seasonal play more rewarding. Later in the year, Diablo 4 will also get its first major expansion.

Another standout for Game Pass this month is Ark: Survival Ascended. If you've yet to pick up the Unreal Engine 5 remake of the popular dino-survival game, then you are in luck as the game will soon be available through Game Pass on PC, Xbox Series X/S and via cloud streaming.

Here is the full list of titles joining Game Pass complete with platforms and dates:

  • Lightyear Frontier (Cloud, PC and Console) – Available today
  • MLB The Show 24 (Cloud and Console) – Available today
  • The Quarry (Cloud and Console) – March 20th
  • Evil West (Cloud, Console and PC) – March 21st
  • Terra Invicta (PC) – March 26th

On the 31st of March, three games will be leaving the Game Pass library, including MLB The Show 23, Infinite Guitars and Hot Wheels Unleashed. If you are currently playing through Persona 3 Reload, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can now claim the game's expansion pass at no extra cost.

Yo Ho Ho and a Merry End to 2024 (which turned out a bit weird)

2024 has been a busy year. It feels like CES 2024 took place about three years ago and Computex - a mere six months ago - is ancient history. You have to think long and hard to recall that yes, Nvidia 40-series Super did indeed arrive in 2024. This is my video about my recollections of the year and that pretty much boils down to CPUs and motherboards.
