AMD has made a Starfield-themed Limited Edition RX 7900 XTX

At QuakeCon this evening, not only has Bethesda dropped a remaster for Quake II, but the publisher has also revealed the next step in its partnership with AMD for Starfield. AMD is the ‘official PC partner' for Starfield, which means support for features like FSR 2 at launch, as well as day-0 optimisations via drivers. It also means we'll be seeing limited edition Starfield-themed graphics cards.

At QuakeCon today, the new Radeon RX 7900 XTX Starfield Limited Edition graphics card was announced, featuring a white, blue and red colour scheme to match the Sci-Fi aesthetic of the main game. Unfortunately, this graphics card won't be sold at retail, but a few hundred units have been created for giveaways to promote the game's launch.

In addition to the Starfield GPU, there will also be a limited edition Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor that comes in a Starfield and AMD co-branded box. Both the CPU and GPU are only being made available through giveaways at QuakeCon this weekend for both in-person attendees and online viewers.

If you are planning to buy a new Ryzen processor or Radeon graphics card, then you'll also be able to get a free copy of Starfield by taking advantage of AMD's latest Game Bundle.

KitGuru Says: These Limited Edition GPUs often look nice but are typically reserved for giveaways. We've seen the same thing with other game collaborations in the past, such as Nvidia's limited edition Cyberpunk 2077 GPU, which was only created for giveaways around the game's launch. The situation will be the same here for AMD's Starfield graphics card.
