Amazon Luna is launching in the UK, Canada and Germany today

Amazon's cloud gaming service, Luna, has been available in the US for about a year already but now, the service is being made available in more regions. As of today, Luna is now accessible in Canada, UK and Germany.

I have already tested Amazon Luna here in the UK. The service comes with a selection of titles freely available to stream for Amazon Prime subscribers, but there is an additional and optional subscription that will let you gain access to servers faster to avoid queues. During my test, as I am not a Luna+ subscriber, I had to wait in a queue of six people before being able to access a game.

Amazon Luna also has add-on subscriptions available, like Ubisoft+, granting you access to a large library of Ubisoft games. The Jackbox Games add-on is also available. Presumably, other publishers will get their own add-ons for Luna in the future too.

Games on Amazon Luna do require a controller, so you'll need a gamepad handy if you plan on trying it out.

KitGuru Says: Amazon Luna is now available to use in the UK and might be worth trying out, particularly if there are free games available to stream that you do not own.
