Riot Games animates League of Legends championship teams

If you're a member of one of the world's top League of Legends pro teams, you'll have found yourself intrinsically linked to one of your favourite characters today, as Riot games has animated the real life players behind the teams, equipping them with the abilities and skills of some of the game's most well known champions.

It doesn't matter if you're a fan of Dignitas, Enus, Team WE, Cloud9 or any of the others, this is just cool all round: [yframe url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PX_IQkeXq9g']

This is all in preparation and anticipation for the coming Season 3 final of the LoL World Championships, set to take place tomorrow on the 4th October. Out of all the competing teams, it's now down to just two: SK Telecom T1 and Royal Club. Last year's champions, the Taipei Assassins didn't even make it to the championship rounds, having been knocked out in the early qualifiers by the Gamania Bears.

The SK Telecom team has had an impressive run this season, especially since it was considered the second tier team for the organisation just a few months ago. Their opponents, Royal Club, a Chinese team, has been part of the big leagues since Season 2, so has a bit more experience at high level competition. Will that make all the difference? We'll find out tomorrow.

KitGuru Says: I think I'd watch a whole movie based around this little trailer. What about the rest of you?

And has anyone got money on tomorrow's results?
