Ubisoft announces The Division Resurgence for mobile

Ubisoft has been working on a The Division mobile spin-off for a while now. This week, the publisher officially announced The Division Resurgence, a new third-person shooter with RPG elements for mobile with both solo and co-op play.

Planned to release on iOS and Android, The Division Resurgence has been designed from the ground up to offer a good gameplay experience on handheld devices. Like the other Division games, it's set in an urban open-world full of PvE activities, featuring some unique modes. In the game's campaign, you'll be able to learn more about the first wave of SHD agents and get another perspective of the events surrounding The Division 1 and 2.

Faithful to The Division formula, the game will allow you to gather and collect many weapons and gear to create the perfect build for you. Moreover, there will also be multiple specializations to master, each with its own skills, gadgets and signature weapons.

The game's release date hasn't been announced yet, but you can register to participate in upcoming playtests.
