The Division Heartland gameplay footage leaks online

Ubisoft only just announced The Division Heartland recently, but gameplay is already leaking online. Over on Twitter, early testers of the game have been sharing footage of the Free to Play Division title, giving us a good look at what to expect.

The leaked video posted by SkyLeaks was apparently leaked by someone within Ubisoft. The video shows the introduction to an on-going closed test phase, which is under NDA. As a result, Ubisoft is likely going to be issuing DMCA claims to get these videos and mirrors taking down.

During the video, Taylor Epperly, the lead game designer at Red Storm Studio, gives us some new information about the game, saying that Tom Clancy's The Division Heartland will be a free-to-play, third-person, survival action shooter set in the open-world of Silver Creek.

The game will have two modes – Expedition and Storm. The former is a co-op PvE experience that looks very reminiscent of The Division 1 and 2. Storm offers something completely different, acting as a 45-player PvPvE mode inspired by the Battle Royale genre.

Ubisoft has not announced a release date for The Division Heartland yet, but the game should be out before the end of March 2022.

KitGuru says: Ubisoft seems to be having an issue with leaks at the moment. Not only has early footage of The Division Heartland been released, but we've also seen early gameplay for Rainbow Six Parasite/Quarantine.
