The Day Before developer reveals the game’s system requirements

The highly awaited open-world survival MMO, The Day Before, is just a couple of months away, with a March release date being announced this week during Nvidia's CES keynote, where the game featured as part of an RTX showcase. We already know the game will have ray-tracing features and support DLSS 3, but now we have full PC system requirements too.

As part of Nvidia's keynote, the company revealed some exclusive footage for various games getting DLSS 3 and RTX support, including Warhaven, Throne and Liberty, Witchfire, Atomic Heart and The Day Before. You can see the gameplay footage in the video below:

Here are the game's minimum and recommended PC system requirements:

Minimum:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-4430 / AMD FX-6300
  • Memory: 10 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 2GB / AMD Radeon R7 370 2GB
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 75 GB available space

Recommended:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-6600K / AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM

The Day Before will be coming out on March 1st for the PC platform through Steam.

KitGuru says: Considering the game runs on Unreal Engine 5, these requirements are surprisingly low. However, if the minimum requirements were to run the game at 720p at low settings, maybe a GTX 960 GPU and a 4th Gen Core i5 CPU are all it takes.
