Sony is about to give its PlayStation Portal remote player a sleek new look. According to a reliable leaker, a black variant of the device is on its way, offering a new alternative to the current white model.

This new model will be priced the same as the existing white version, meaning it will come out at £199.99/$199.99/€219.99. This is great news for gamers who prefer a more understated aesthetic or want a device that better matches their other gaming gear.

In addition to the black Portal handheld, billbil-kun (via Dealabs) also reports that Sony is releasing a range of PlayStation 5 peripherals in black, including a DualSense Edge controller, the Pulse Elite wireless headphones, and the Pulse Explore wireless earbuds.
