Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown PC system requirements and console performance settings

Ubisoft has recently announced the official PC system requirements for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Alongside them, the developer and publisher also released a new trailer showing more of the game and the performance targets for consoles.

Given the visuals it offers, we never expected the new Prince of Persia game to be hard to run. As long as you have a mid-range system built in the last seven years, you should be good to go. Even running at Ultra settings in 4K looks easy for a new entry-level system.

Interestingly, the AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT GPU is recommended across the three performance levels. However, 4K Ultra recommends the 8GB version instead of the 4GB model. Here are the detailed system requirements for the next Prince of Persia game:

MINIMUM (1920×1080, 60 FPS, Graphics Quality Normal)

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.4 GHz, AMD Ryzen 3 1200 3.1 GHz
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 (2 GB VRAM) or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT (4 GB VRAM)
  • RAM: 8GB (Dual-channel setup)
  • Storage space: 30GB
  • DirectX version: DirectX 11
  • OS: Windows 10/11 (64-bit only)

RECOMMENDED (2560×1440 [2K], 60 FPS, Graphics Quality High)

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-6700 3.4 GHz, AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2 GHz
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 (4GB VRAM) or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT (4 GB VRAM)
  • RAM: 8GB (Dual-channel setup)
  • Storage space: 30GB
  • DirectX version: DirectX 11
  • OS: Windows 10/11 (64-bit only)

ULTRA (3840×2160 [4K], 60 FPS, Graphics Quality Ultra)

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-6700 3.4 GHz, AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2 GHz
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB VRAM) or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT (8 GB VRAM)
  • RAM: 8GB (Dual-channel setup)
  • Storage space: 30GB
  • DirectX version: DirectX 11
  • OS: Windows 10/11 (64-bit only)

Regarding consoles, Ubisoft also shared the performance targets for each of them. All game versions will run at 60 FPS, but the resolution will change based on the console. Moreover, current-generation consoles can achieve up to 120 FPS. You can check out all the details below:

    • Handheld: 720p 60 FPS
    • Docked: 1080p 60 FPS
  • PlayStation 4:
    • PS4 Pro: 4K 60 FPS
    • PS4: 1080p 60 FPS
  • PlayStation 5:
    • 4K 120 FPS
  • Xbox One:
    • Xbox One X: 4K 60 FPS
    • Xbox One S: 1080p 60 FPS
    • Xbox One: 1080p 60 FPS
  • Xbox Series X|S:
    • Xbox Series X: 4K 120 FPS
    • Xbox Series S: 1440p 60 FPS

It's worth noting that the game will be available on the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect on January 15th, skipping Steam upon launch.
