Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will feature open-world, slated for November 18th

Yesterday, the second trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet dropped, giving us a new look at gameplay. Not only did we get to see new Pokémon, but we also got a November 18th launch date, confirmation of open-world gameplay and up to four-player co-op.

Besides the release date, the trailer also shows some new Pokémon from the new generation, including the legendaries that will be exclusive for each version. These are Koraidon (Scarlet), a red reptile with a magnificent mane, and Miraodon (Violet), a violet, android-like serpentine with two jet engines in place of its legs.

In addition to the new legendary Pokémon, the trailer gives us our first look at Pawmi, a cute electric-type mouse, Lechonk, a hog Pokémon that looks adorable, and Smoliv, an olive Pokémon that looks like Budew. Moreover, you can also see the starter Pokémon in action, as well as an overview of the open-world featured in the game.

The studio also revealed the upcoming Pokémon titles will feature co-op gameplay, allowing you to join up with three other players to explore the world. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will release exclusively on Nintendo Switch on the 18th of November.
