Manor Lords has already sold over 1 million copies

Manor Lords, Steam's most wishlisted game in 2024, is already a success. The strategy game sold over one million copies in its launch weekend alone, and during the same period, it reached a peak concurrent player count of over 173,000.

Manor Lords, released on April 26th, was at the top of many Steam wishlists in the weeks before its release. Now, it seems that many of them have converted, as publisher Hooded Horse revealed on Twitter that Manor Lords has already sold over one million copies.

If that isn't enough, the publisher states that the game's top concurrent player count of 170,000 is the “highest ever for a city builder”, as seen on SteamDB. However, since the publisher's statement, the peak concurrent player count has increased slightly, reaching 173,178. Note that the game is also available on the Epic Games Store, Xbox (PC), and GOG, so these numbers only account for a part of the sales and player base.

Manor Lords seemed to have started off well. Reviews have been great, player counts are incredibly high, and although the game's lone developer has had to step in once or twice for some last-minute adjustments, gamers seem to be happy with it, pushing it to an 89% overall rating on Steam based on over 20,000 user reviews.
