Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 Turbocharged is coming to consoles and PC this Fall

In collaboration with developer Milestone, Mattel has announced the sequel to  Hot Wheels Unleashed. Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 introduces fresh mechanics, environments, vehicle styles, and game modes.

One of the standout features of Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 is the expansive vehicle roster, boasting over 130 rides. This time, players will get to drive cars, motorbikes, and ATVs. Vehicles will be classified into three categories: Stock, Powered, and Ultimate, each offering distinct performance characteristics. Moreover, players can utilize skill points to purchase perks to tune the vehicles.

The sequel introduces five environments that add depth and excitement to races. Each features different racing surfaces that will impact vehicle performance, creating a more dynamic gameplay experience. In addition, players will encounter various objects on and off the track that will interact with vehicles, adding an extra layer of challenge.

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged will also introduce dash and jump, giving players more control over their vehicle. The game also packs new game modes, both online and offline. These include challenging events and a career mode. Two-player split-screen mode will make a comeback alongside online game modes, which have been enhanced with the ability to create parties and the inclusion of cross-play.

Building on the success of user-generated content in the original game, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 offers even more creative freedom. The enhanced Track Editor adds new special modules and features, and the Livery Editor receives an update, introducing the Sticker Editor, enabling the creation, saving, and sharing of original patterns and shapes. All user-generated content will be cross-platform shareable. You can now pre-order Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
