Asus ROG partners with Opera to launch Opera GX ROG edition browser

Asus ROG announced a partnership with Opera for the Opera GX ROG Edition. With GX Mods, Opera GX provides nearly limitless customisation, connection with services such as Discord and Twitch, CPU, RAM, and network limiters. However, this new version is a little more special, featuring Aura Sync integration, unique backgrounds, and other special content.

ROG products have a consistent aesthetic that customers can now extend with the Opera GX ROG Edition browser. Wallpapers, background music, sound clips, and a ROG Electro Punk game are available in this new version of Opera GX, as well as an Aura Sync integration, enabling users to build unique light effects and animations that adapt in real-time to browser content. Light effects may even be used as notifications for when users receive messages, complete a download, or open a tab.

The browser will also inform users about ROG events through the handy Opera GX Corner. With a single click, gamers can hear about future events and new ROG product releases and communicate with ROG personnel and other gamers.

All of the tools and features of the original Opera GX are available in the new ROG Edition browser. That includes the CPU, RAM, and network bandwidth limiters. There's also a Hot Tabs Killer function that allows users to dismiss the most resource-intensive tabs, while the GX Cleaner assists in the removal of old, undesirable files. The Opera GX ROG Edition may be downloaded here.
