Rainbow Six Siege drops teaser for upcoming Season 3

Rainbow Six Siege returns to form at the end of the month as we wave goodbye to Operation Health and welcome Operation Blood Orchid. Ubisoft dropped a teaser for the new season, which will get a full reveal during the Rainbow Six Pro League finals later this month.

Operation Health was a deviation from the normal roadmap that Siege follows, delaying the Polish operators in favour of a plethora of bug fixes and maintenance to improve the longevity of the game. As this comes to a close, Season 3 introduces the two new Hong Kong operators and their respective map as well as one of the two operators from Poland.

All three new operators will be available for season pass holders from the 29th August, while all other players will have to wait a week, being able to purchase them for in game currency on the 5th September.

The full announcement for the new season will land on the 26th August during Gamescom's Pro League Finals, which pits eight teams from across Europe, North America and Latin America for the title of Year 2 Season 2 Pro League Champion as well as a portion of the $237,500 prize pool.

KitGuru Says: While I agree with the idea of Operation Health, I have to question whether enough has been done when Alpha Packs are one of the more significant changes made over the past few months. Either way, the wait is almost over and I can't wait to try out all three new operators. What do you hope to see from them? Will you be jumping back on Siege at the end of the month?
