Tesco leaks info on Call Of Duty: Ghosts ‘powered by next gen engine’

According to reports circulating online, Tesco have leaked a report on the next Call of Duty Game.

The game is expected to be called ‘Call Of Duty: Ghosts', information leaked earlier by Tesco. The latest report says that the upcoming COD title will be ‘powered by a new next generation Call Of Duty engine.

Tesco's listed the information this weekend, before subsequently taking it down after the gaff was noticed.

Tescos said “The franchise that has defined a generation of gaming is set to raise the bar once again with the all-new Call of Duty: Ghosts. Published by Activision and developed by Infinity Ward, the studio that created the original Call of Duty and the seminal Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series, Call of Duty: Ghosts ushers in the next generation of the franchise, delivering a riveting all-new gameplay experience built on an entirely new story, setting and cast, all powered by a new next-generation Call of Duty engine.”

The platforms and release date have yet to be confirmed but we would expect the title to be released just in time for the Christmas sales. Call Of Duty is always a huge seller and the timing seems perfect.

  1. Hmmmm. Looks like Infinity ward are going to have to keep the series on it’s current story and game engine just to make sure people don’t expect brand new thing. I call it the Apple effect, rumors and posts get leaked, so what do/will they do? Keep it all the same, maybe a bigger screen.
