Indie ‘Journey’ developer keen to work on Wii u eshop

One of my favourite games in the last couple of years was the awesome ‘Journey' on the Playstation 3. The game received acclaim from critics in all parts of the globe and scooped up some of the top awards too.

Developer Thatgamecompany seem to be keen to release titles on the Wii U eshop some time in the future. This will be good news to millions of Wii U users.

The studio were responsible for Flower and Journey, two very popular independent titles which sold well. They hit Twitter to ask questions and one fan asked them if they were interested in expanding onto the Wii U in the future. Both Flower and Journey were exclusive Playstation 3 titles so it has been impossible to enjoy the simple, yet addictive qualities of the titles on either Microsoft or Nintendo consoles.

Thatgamecompany said they are not ruling out the Wii U as a potential platform for new titles, although they have nothing to announce just yet.

Kitguru says: A new Journey style game for the Nintendo consoles? that would go down a treat.
