Overclockers UK Titan Envy V2 System Review

The Overclockers UK Titan Envy V2 system ships double boxed. Inside the outer brown box is the Corsair 350D chassis box which houses the system itself. The picture above is taken in our warehouse.

There is not much left to say about the Corsair 350D which we haven't already discussed. Kitguru team member Luke Hill reviewed this case back in June and it earned our highest award. If you missed our indepth review, head over here. Overclockers UK have not changed the appearance, and haven't even added their own badge to the front of the case.

The rear of the system is colour coordinated. OCUK are using a Corsair GS600 power supply and a Gigabyte G1 Killer motherboard in this specific build. Both excellent products. We can also see the Corsair liquid cooler fan at the rear.

Once we remove the sculpted foam from inside the Titan Envy V2 we can get a better look at the build quality. There is no question that it is extremely impressive.

OverclockersUK have installed the Corsair GS600 power supply at the bottom of the case with the fan facing upwards.

The drive bay the front of the case is home to the mechanical drive. The Solid State Drive is installed just above the mechanical drive – seen more clearly when we remove the other side panel.

Powering the games is an Nvidia GTX770 graphics card, this is a monster board and the best performer in its price bracket. Above this is the Corsair H80i All in one liquid cooler, another solid performer able to deal with overclocked, overvolted processors.

An intake fan is positioned between the drives and the optical bay above. Overclockers UK have installed a DVD rewriter drive.

The routing job is very tidy throughout with all the cables neatly pushed through the holes close to the motherboard.

There are quite a few cables to route in this system however we can't really find a fault with how the OCUK technicians have handled the procedure. The other panel attaches easily enough too as OCUK haven't carelessly bunched the cables in one location.

  1. Well I love PCSPECIALIST too, but this is better than anything ive seen from them this year. have they a new system builder team in there? my mate has an OCUK from 2 years ago and its a POS.

  2. Well im not a fan of prebuilts either, but this is as good as I could build myself. better if I was being honest. shame they dont offer the 4770k, id like the four extra cores

  3. I still think you could spec a system like this for a few hundred less. still, nice build.

  4. Haven’t ordered from OCUK in years. just built my own system. Have to chip in with a vote of ‘good build’ too.

I noticed the motherboard immediately, gettign sick seeing asus boards recently on kitguru, so nice move from OCUK.

  5. That corsair case is great, my friend bought from scan a while ago, its tiny, cant tell that from the pictures. very portable and light, but well built.

They make great products, good to see the PSU, cooler, case etc, are all corsair. Is the PSU ok? never seen that model before.

  6. Still prefer the 3570k or 3770k, they could have got it to 4.8ghz easy with that cooler. No need for integrated graphics with a GTX770.

    Intel are sucking this generation.
