The tests were performed in a controlled air conditioned room with temperatures maintained at a constant 22c – a comfortable environment for the majority of people reading this.
Idle temperatures were measured after 30 minutes of ‘resting’ in the Windows 7 environment. System temperatures were measured by running Furmark with Cinebench R11.5 64 bit in a loop for 30 minutes then recording the maximum temperatures during this time period.
We attached 5 diodes to the internal of the chassis.
- next to the optical drive at the front of the chassis.
- next to the processor cooling fan system.
- bottom front of the case near hard drives.
- close to the graphics card and motherboard.
- close to the power supply at the bottom of the case.
The fans in the system can work hard when gaming, although the temperatures are maintained at reasonably good levels throughout. The ambient temperatures can warm up a little in the middle & top part of the chassis after extended load.

Its designed like their laptops., which I like, altholugh I read a lot of horror stories based on the drivers for the laptops and problems., with them.
This is a very nice system, although it will be priced very high for most people I would imagine.
That front panel looks like it might break. My brother breaks everything so I would imagine people would need to be careful with this. it is pivoting on a spring?
