We have changed our method of measuring noise levels. Ambient noise in the room is around 20-25dBa. We measure from a distance of around 1 meter from the closed chassis and 4 foot from the ground to mirror a real world situation.
Why do this? Well this means we can eliminate secondary noise pollution in the test room and concentrate on only the system. It also brings us slightly closer to industry standards, such as DIN 45635.

When the system is turned on for the first couple of seconds, it emits an incredible level of noise, as indicated by the 47.3 dBa rating above. This drops almost immediately to just over 30 dBa. Generally when gaming, the system emits around 35.4 dBa. It isn't the quietest system we have tested, but the fans are quite active.
wow absolutely amazing, i love the shape of this. nice internals, no ideas on cost? id reckon 2k.
Its designed like their laptops., which I like, altholugh I read a lot of horror stories based on the drivers for the laptops and problems., with them.
This is a very nice system, although it will be priced very high for most people I would imagine.
That front panel looks like it might break. My brother breaks everything so I would imagine people would need to be careful with this. it is pivoting on a spring?
