Lenovo launch Flex 20 AIO Computer with 3 hour battery

Lenovo are launching their new Flex 20 All in One computer which is running Windows 8 and has a 19.5 inch multi touch screen on board. The machines ship with either standard mechanical or hybrid HDD which includes an 8GB Solid state cache. The computer measures only 20.5mm thick and weighs 3.5kg. It also has an internal battery with rated life of up to 3 hours without a power socket.

There is a hinge at the back of the aluminum chassis which lets the user tilt the screen anywhere between 15 and 70 degrees. It can also be pushed flush to give a tablet appearance.

The panel uses IPS technology and is frameless with 10 simultaneous touch points. We expected a true 1080p HD resolution, but strangely the company have opted for 1600×900.

The Flex 20 uses the latest 4th generation Core i7 processors, using HD4400 integrated graphics. The DDR3 memory can be expanded to 8GB and there are two USB 3.0 ports, a 6 in 1 card reader, 802.11b/g/n Wifi and Bluetooth 4.0 wireless connectivity. The Flex 20 also has an integrated HD webcam and stereo speakers with support for Dolby Home Theater V4. [yframe url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmMvN2WUFgg']

The Lenovo Flex 20 will be available later this month and prices look set to start at $899.99, although no mention yet of UK pricing. You can read more on the system over here.

Kitguru says: The specs look great, but we can't help but feel disappointed with the screen resolution of the panel.
