The Expanse: A Telltale Series will no longer be EGS exclusive

In order to compete with the likes of Steam, Epic Games has struck many deals with game publishers over the years, making a number of PC titles timed-exclusives to their Epic Games Store. The latest title set to be deshackled from the platform is The Expanse: A Telltale Series – coming soon to Steam after spending the last 3 months on the Epic Games Store.

As reported by Gematsu, The Expanse: A Telltale series now has an official Steam Store listing, with the game currently stated to be ‘coming soon.’

That said, when it does release, the game will be available in its entirety immediately. For the uninitiated, as with most Telltale titles, The Expanse launched in a staggered state, with the game’s 5 episodes being released between the 27th of July and the 21st of September.

While this episodic nature does lend itself to the type of games that Telltale releases, being able to experience the full story all in one go is a nice option to have for those who prefer to play that way.

The description for The Expanse: A Telltale Series reads as follows: “Take on the role of Camina Drummer and explore the dangerous and uncharted edges of the Belt aboard the Artemis. From scavenging wrecked ships in a zero-g environment, to surviving a mutiny, to combating fearsome pirates, you make the difficult choices and reveal Camina Drummer’s resolve in this latest Telltale adventure.”
