The Callisto Protocol will be free on the Epic Games Store next week

Each week, all those with an Epic Games account can get their hands on a title or two for free thanks to the platform’s free game promotion. With Death’s Gambit: Afterlife available right now to claim, next week’s free titles have been revealed.

Available to claim and add to your library from the 22nd of August until the 29th, next week’s free Epic Games Store titles are the following:

• Gigantic: Rampage Edition
• The Callisto Protocol

Of course, between the two, The Callisto Protocol is easily the headliner. Released back in late 2022, the game received somewhat mixed reviews, with praise being given to its visuals and aesthetics – though much less so towards actual gameplay variety.

Still, considering the fact that it was recently revealed that the game was given less time to develop than initially promised, perhaps the team did the best with what they had. The Callisto Protocol is certainly worth checking out if nothing else – especially for the price of free.

As mentioned, you can currently get your hands on Death’s Gambit: Afterlife – a cool 2D pixel-art metroidvania souls-like, as well as a Starter Pack for the free-to-play World of Warships.
