Parkour cyberpunk puzzler ‘Ghostrunner’ will be free on the Epic Games Store

Each week, Epic Games offers a title or two for free to all those with an Epic Games account. With The Outer Worlds and Thief currently free to acquire, the platform holder has revealed that come this Thursday, the first-person cyberpunk parkour puzzler Ghostrunner will be free to own.

Available to add to your library this Thursday the 11th of April from 4pm, Ghostrunner is a fast-paced first-person parkour title which feels like a mix between Mirror’s Edge and Hotline Miami in which you “slice your enemies with a monomolecular katana, dodge bullets with your superhuman reflexes, and employ a variety of specialized techniques to prevail.”

Featuring a one-hit-kill mechanic, players will have to master their timing and agility in order to succeed. Ghostrunner received high praise upon its release back in 2020, selling over 2.5 million copies and spawning an even more visceral sequel.

Ghostrunner will be available to add to your library for free from the 11th of April, which gives you plenty of time to obtain Epic’s current set of free titles; The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition and Thief – the details of which can be found HERE.
