Each week, those with an Epic Games account are privy to a number of titles for free. Right now, the classic RPG from Obsidian Entertainment – Fallout: New Vegas – has been made available to all for the low price of ‘free’.

Available to add to your library from now until the 1st of June at 4pm UK Time (at which point it will be replaced by a ‘Mystery Game’), Fallout: New Vegas is one of the most beloved entries in the Fallout franchise, with particular praise being given to the game’s freedom, dialogue, emergent gameplay opportunities and roleplaying.

What’s more, the version being offered is the Ultimate Edition, which includes the game’s 4 pieces of DLC add-ons: Dead Money; Honest Hearts; Old World Blues and Lonesome Road – all of which brings new story content, added level caps, new traits and more.

If you have yet to play Fallout New Vegas, now is as good a time as any to do so. While some of the game’s elements do not quite hold up to modern standards, many more not only remain strong, but supersede most current releases – and with rumours that a New Vegas 2 might be happening, it is high time to explore the Mojave Wasteland. Fallout: New Vegas is available to add to your library for free and will remain so until the 1st of June.
