Fallout London mod gets Q4 2023 release window

Fallout London is an ambitious DLC-sized total conversion mod for Fallout 4, taking players outside of the US for the first time to the “previously unexplored post-apocalyptic environment of London”. Initially planned for release in Q3 of this year, the mod has now been pushed back to the end of 2023.

Releasing a 2nd Quarter 2023 progress video, the team behind Fallout London gave fans a release window for the mod. More than a year after its initial announcement, Fallout London has officially been revealed to be coming in the 4th Quarter of 2023 (October-December), with the project lead ‘Dean Carter’ announcing:

“I can openly say that it [Fallout London’s release date] will be in the fourth Quarter of the year. Now, you might be wondering ‘why so late?’ Well, initially we had hoped for it to be in the third Quarter – as in the one that’s coming up – however a certain space game [Starfield] got delayed and is now scheduled to come out around the same time that we had planned. So, as a result we’re making our release for the last Quarter.”

As mentioned, every Fallout game released has been set in the US, and so the concept of a London-focused Fallout title is highly enticing. In going to their website you can see just how much care is being put into the conversion mod, with lore considerations and more. It’ll be exciting to finally play Fallout London when it releases later this year.
