Fallout 76 is free with Prime Gaming

Each month, those with an Amazon Prime subscription are able to get their hands on a number of games for the low price of ‘free’. For the month of October, subscribers can look forward to exploring Middle-Earth; a post-nuclear America and beyond with 7 free games on offer.

Available to add to your library from the 1st of October, those with a Prime Gaming account can get their hands on:

  • Fallout 76
  • Total War: Warhammer II
  • Middle-earth: Shadow of War
  • Glass Masquerade: Origins
  • LOOM
  • Hero’s Hour
  • Horace

Though it originally released to great criticism across the board, Fallout 76 has improved leaps and bounds above the game’s 1.0 version. With multiple free expansions and updates released, now is as good a time as any to get into the world of Fallout 76.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War is another one of October’s biggest offerings. Following on from September’s free game (Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor), this sequel takes the formula from the first game and expands upon it further, including the famed nemesis system. As with Fallout 76, Shadow of War launched to some criticism, though these issues – in particular the case of the game’s microtransactions – were resolved with future patches, meaning you can now enjoy this open-world title in its entirety for free.
