Adventure puzzler ‘Call of the Sea’ is free on the Epic Games Store

Each week, those with an Epic Games Store account are able to get their hands on a free game or two as part of the platform holder’s ‘Free Games’ initiative. Available to add to your library right now is the “otherworldly tale of mystery and love”:  Call of the Sea.

Available to add to your library for free right now – and will remain so until the 16th of March, Call of the Sea is a first-person puzzle adventure game set in the 1930s South Pacific which sees you “Explore a lush island paradise, solve puzzles and unlock secrets in the hunt for your husband’s missing expedition.”

The game received a warm reception from both fans and critics alike upon the game’s release back in 2020, with particular praise being given to the title’s creative puzzles and immersive atmosphere.

Though not the longest game in the world (clocking in at roughly 6 hours in length), Call of the Sea offers a satisfying blend of visuals, story and puzzles, making for a game that is well worth playing – especially for the low price of ‘free’.

Call of the Sea is available to add to your library right now and will remain so until the 16th of March, at which point it will be replaced by another title (though the game will of course remain in your library indefinitely as long as you redeem it in time).
