Mad Max now has PC system requirements

Avalanche studios, the same team behind Just Cause, is currently gearing up to release the new Mad Max video game on the consoles and PC. The game is due out on the 1st of September, so those looking to play it will probably want to check out the system requirements.

The minimum spec to run the game includes:

  • OS: 64 bit: Vista, Win 7, Win 8
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-650, 3.2 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 965, 3.4 Ghz
  • Memory: 6 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660ti (2 GB Memory or higher) or AMD Radeon HD 7870 (2 GB Memory or higher)
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Hard Drive: 32 GB available space

Those looking to crank up the settings a bit will want to meet the recommended system requirements, which include:

  • OS: 64 bit: Win 7 SP1, Win 8.1
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz or AMD FX-8350, 4.0 GHz
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (3 GB Memory or higher) or AMD Radeon HD 7970 (3 GB Memory or higher)
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Hard Drive: 32 GB available space

Aside from the new system requirements for PC owners, we also have a trailer, which you can see above. The game's launch follows the theatrical release of Mad Max: Fury Road, which turned out to be a very good movie and garnered up quite a bit of praise. The Mad Max game lands on the 1st of September for the PC, Xbox One and PS4.

KitGuru Says: Generally games based off of movies don't tend to turn out that great. However, Avalanche Studios has proven itself with the Just Cause series so I guess we will have to wait and see how this one turns out. Did any of you go and see the new Mad Max film over the Summer?
