Computex 2024: Antec’s new handheld gaming PC & 2024 case line-up

At Computex this week Antec is debuting a new product category. The company has teamed up with Ayaneo to produce the Core HS, a new handheld powered by a Ryzen APU. Leo also takes a look at Antec's 2024 case line-up.

Antec's biggest announcement this year comes as a surprise. We mostly know Antec for their cases, but now, Antec will also have a handheld gaming PC on the market. The company has teamed up with Ayaneo to produce the Core HS, powered by a Ryzen 7840U, with integrated gamepad controls and a slide-up display that reveals a full-size keyboard underneath.

In our Computex video, Leo also takes a closer look at Antec's various cases, including the new C8 Curve, a new variant of the chassis with wrap-around tempered glass covering the front and side. We reviewed this recently, so be sure to check that out for in-depth testing.

The Antec C8 original, which we also liked very much in our review, should soon be getting a discount too, which would make it excellent value for money if you're planning a new PC build.

The Antec Flux is a new case to us as we have not yet reviewed it. The build we see on display in the video looks great, giving you an idea of how well you can use the interior space for a liquid-cooled build. The Flux Pro is a larger version, offering even more space and even an LCD panel for system monitoring.

The Performance 1M is a dual-chamber Mini-ITX case, with one side dedicated to the GPU and the other side dedicated to your PSU, motherboard, CPU and cooler.
