CyberPowerPC Ultra R77 RTX Gaming Desktop Review

The Ultra R77 RTX desktop performed very well during our gaming benchmarks, maintaining and average FPS of 80+ when gaming at 4K maximum settings. The pairing of a Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU and Nvidia RTX 4080 Super GPU is a winning combination that will no doubt smash through almost any title you throw at it.

CPU performance during synthetic benchmarks was a little disappointing and came up short when compared to some Intel counterparts, though this is to be expected considering the architectural differences. The 3D V-Cache processors do run at lower clock speeds than their non-X3D counterparts.

The aesthetics and overall design of the system are excellent. The NZXT H6 Flow RGB case does a great job a putting the GPU on display even while mounted horizontally, with its angled intake fans setting it apart from a lot of similar sized, tempered glass cases on the market. Cable management and overall tidiness of the build is great and its easy to see that care has been taken when assembling the system.

The use of 6000MT/s memory was great to see and 32GB is plenty for gaming and a decent amount for creative work as we move through 2024. There is also ample room for future expansion, with only one of the three M.2 sockets populated with the Western Digital SN850x SSD.

Finally, the pricing of £2299.20 is fair for a system with this specification, which comes with a decent warranty and genuine operating system license. When compared to an almost identical system specification put together on PCPartPicker, the difference was roughly £250. When factoring in the warranty and OS license, the real-world difference gets even smaller, making this a great route for someone looking to pick up a very powerful prebuilt system as a first gaming PC.

You can purchase the Ultra R77 RTX desktop directly from CyberPowerPC for £2299.20 HERE.

Pros:

KitGuru says: The Ultra R77 RTX is an excellent choice for anyone looking for great gaming performance and a stunning-looking PC.
