Cyberpower Ultra 79 XTX Prebuilt (7900X3D + RX 7900 XTX)

During a sustained Cinebench R23 multi core workload, the CPU peaked at 84 degrees Celsius. Overall a touch lower than the Intel 13900K but a considerable 9 degrees higher than the 7950X3D. All systems were running a 360mm Corsair AIO cooler.

GPU thermals during a Cyberpunk 2077 gaming session topped out at a respectable 61 degrees Celsius. Cyberpunk 2077 can be a very demanding game and the GPU and general PC cooling setup seemed to cope with it well.

Noise levels were nothing extraordinary and were not overly noticeable during testing. Gaming noise levels of 44dBa while playing Cyberpunk 2077 are easily drowned out when using a headset or a decent set of speakers. Cinebench R23 noise levels were 4dBa higher at 48dBa, which is still quite reasonable and will only be experienced with the CPU being under 100% load, which will not be all of the time.

CPU power consumption during a sustained Cinebench R23 workload came in at 136 watts, lower than both the Ryzen 9 7950X3D and Intel Core i9-13900k.

Total system power draw when measured at the wall was 102 watts when the system was idle, which is higher than the Corsair One i300 used as a comparison. The results when the system was under load was a different story though, with the Ultra 79 XTX sucking down 227 watts running Cinebench R23 and 513 watts when gaming in Cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p max settings.
