PCSpecialist Titan Supreme Prebuilt System Review

Taken as a whole the PCSpecialist Titan Supreme is a solid mid-range gaming PC. The system costs just under £1500 as reviewed, but in the current market with inflated component prices and shortages it is difficult to comment on whether we think it is good value for money, but it seems to be priced correctly right now. You will struggle to find a pre-built system with the same spec for much cheaper and if you do, will it be built to the same standard? Maybe not.

Over the years that we have been reviewing pre-built systems from PCSpecialist, we have come to expect a high standard of build quality and sensible choice of components used. The Titan Supreme follows in the footsteps of the previous PCSpecialist system we have seen and lives up to these standards once again.

Build quality is great, it looks very professional with impeccable cable management in most areas of the system. Time and thought have been put into the presentation; it certainly isn’t a rush job. The minor letdown on build quality is the trapped front fan cable as I mentioned earlier, but we hope this is just a one-off issue that will be addressed in future.

The choice of components work well together, too. Even during this problematic period where high-end graphics cards are hard to come by, PCSpecialist has managed to put together a spec that should please gamers who want solid FPS and high graphics settings. It's not going to hit high frame rates at 4K resolution, but paired with a 1080p or 1440p high refresh rate monitor the Titan Supreme proved to be a very capable gaming system.

Based around the new Intel 12th Gen platform and equipped with a Core i5-12600KF CPU means that not only will it be great for gaming, but it also offers solid performance to work with day-to-day in general windows tasks and even when it comes to streaming and multitasking too. This new platform also offers a good upgrade path for the future with DDR5 compatibility and enough performance cores to be used with the next generation of GPUs I’m sure.

PCSpecialist uses the Cooler Master MasterBox TD500 chassis in the Titan Supreme which isn’t a spring chicken but it still offers excellent hardware compatibility, so upgrading to a higher power graphics card in the future won’t be a problem, The case also offers good airflow so cooling high-end components isn’t an issue either.

So, there isn’t much to complain about with the PCSpecialist Titan Supreme, build quality is very professional, hardware component choice is decent, performance is great and the system runs nice and cool under heavy loads. I just wish PCSpecialist would throw out those ugly green PCB WiFi cards that are fitted to most systems as they just don’t suit the looks of a modern gaming PC.

The PCSpecialist Titan Supreme is available to purchase directly from PCSpecialist for £1499 HERE.

Pros:

  • Professional looking build.
  • Good choice of components.
  • Exceptional cable management.
  • Great gaming CPU.

Cons:

  • Green WiFi Card PCB looks out of place.
  • Trapped fan cable behind the front panel.
  • Price slightly inflated due to component shortages.

KitGuru says: There's a couple of minor issues with the build, but the core spec on offer will keep you very happy for high refresh rate 1080p or 1440p gaming.
