PCSpecialist Ignite X1 Gaming PC Review – w/ Ryzen 9 3900

Performance: Storage & Memory

Using CrystalDiskMark, we will measure the performance of all storage devices installed in the PCSpecialist Ignite X1. AIDA64’s memory benchmark will be run to determine system memory performance and detailed below.

CrystalDiskMark

Both the SSD and HDD produced results I would expect from this specification of hardware. The Samsung 970 EVO PLUS M.2 SSD records excellent speed above 3000MB/s both in sequential read and write tests. With this kind of speed, you will notice the system is very responsive during day to day tasks in Windows and game load times will be noticeably fast compared with traditional HDD speeds.

AIDA64 Memory Benchmark

The AIDA64 memory benchmark test produced speeds typical of DDR4 3200MHz memory.  So no surprises and nothing to be concerned about here, memory read, write and copy performance is as it should be.
